I have a thing for impossible causes and genuinely enjoy the "the critical system is on fire and the team is gone" scenario. My experience ranges from .NET (F# and C#) to Clojure/Datomic on financial systems, where I integrated with a dozen APIs including Xero, NetSuite, Sage, Intuit QuickBooks, Plaid, and Teller; on the side I do OCaml and C++ on open source. Lately I'm very interested in database development, with deep knowledge of and a real appetite for database internals, especially relational and newSQL. I like making things reproducible and building tools that make our lives less miserable.
