Whatever Docker thought when changing the license and pricing of docker desktop, they're not considering long enough about the impact of the alternative.
It's just about time for the same or better quality replacement to come. At the end, docker relevance in developer machine will be less and less overtime.
Where would the ads be displayed? I almost never open the Docker Desktop application itself. It starts up automatically and mostly does what it's supposed to do. I connect to it through the command line.
