I've been building Abject (https://abject.world) as a malleable base for custom code. It's built on top of a protocol I created called the Ask protocol. I've now built it to a point where I no longer use claude to build it but use Abject itself.
I highly recommend the book Dawn of Everything by David Wengrow and David Graeber. Incredibly well researched looking at the latest scientific findings from anthropology and archeology.
I actually use the computer as a metaphor. The LLM is the CPU. The harness is the motherboard which controls communication between the CPU and other components like memory, hardrive, and inputs. In other words, how the LLM interacts with the outside world, and outside world with the LLM.
I've been building coding harnesses since 2021 and believed in their value for a long time. Harnesses matter a lot, look at what claude did for Anthropic.
It seems at this stage hermes has the upper hand over OpenClaw in people building multi-agent systems. What about hermes do people like above OpenClaw. I'm building a completely different kind of "software factory" called Abject and I'm curious what people are valuing in Hermes above other systems.
People assemble projects from a collection of buzzwords these days without understanding the underlying technology. Did he need to use tailscale to interact with the box remotely? No. But, it's what a google search will tell you to do.
Same. Sometimes you have to live with inconvenience to keep a moral stand. Those down-voting don't understand why any sacrifice of convenience or tech is worth it.
I agree, although I don't think their offering is even convenient. I also don't use Cursor (I think most people have moved on to Claude Code/Codex), so also not helpful from that point of view. Regardless, not only do I find it morally wrong to give Musk money, I think it's a bad business idea. He can't be trusted and your code is at risk on his platform.

Yes, these cost savings would be a deflationary event. Most layoffs will come from insurance companies and administration necessary to satisfy them in hospitals.
One reason hospitals have such low margins is many people simply can't pay. If you have a payment guarantee like a medicare for all system, this will increase the stability of hospitals. In fact likely bring back some hospitals in places that didn't make sense like rural areas, which have been struggling via hospital closures.
If you are worried a low cost system will reduce doctors and hospitals per capita you don't need to, as countries that have universal healthcare often have more per capita.
